Abstrax Hops contacted Knockout Designs for another round of custom tap handles, as they were preparing to pour terpene-infused beers at the Craft Brewers Conference in Indianapolis. The Abstrax booth needed to reflect the same energy and innovation that defines their product line. They had loved the original custom tap marker we created for them months earlier, but this time, the goal was different: create glossy tap handles with bright yellow logos that would command attention and seamlessly match the high-impact design of their trade show presence.
The Knockout Designs team crafted a sleek, glossy black base for the handle, creating a bold, modern look that felt right at home in the high-tech world of cannabis-infused brewing. The star of the design is the custom-shaped topper featuring Abstrax’s bright yellow skunk logo—brought to life using UV LED paint for an ultra-vibrant finish. The UV LED paint is not only eye-catching with its vibrancy, but will help increase the durability of the tap handles through daily use. The contrast between the glassy black handle and the glowing yellow ensures the tap handles pop visually from every angle. The brand name “Skunkworks” was printed in large, white lettering down the handle, maximizing visibility in a crowded trade show space. Clean lines, sharp edges, and bold color choices give this tap handle a sophisticated look that perfectly represents the innovation behind Abstrax’s Skunkworks line.
