New Park Brewing, a longtime partner of Knockout Designs, came to us with a new vision for their custom tap handle lineup. Having collaborated with them for years on laser-engraved wooden tap markers, we were excited to take their branding to the next level. They requested a clean, modern wooden tap handle that prominently displayed their name and signature logo—something that felt true to their identity while elevating the taproom experience for both bartenders and customers.
The Knockout Designs team began with a solid wood handle, selecting a natural finish that complements New Park’s natural aesthetic. The highlighted feature is the circular topper, which has a detailed laser engraving of New Park Brewing’s logo—a park scene featuring a bench and tree. Laser engraving provides fine detail, making it the perfect choice for intricate logos, small text, and complex designs. This precision ensures consistent and professional results on every piece. Additionally, laser engraving permanently marks the surface which makes it ideal for busy environments where tap handles need to withstand frequent handling and cleaning. This circular New Park Brewing logo design adds a stunning visual element to the tap handle.
On the shaft of the wooden handle, the team laser engraved “New Park Brewing” vertically down both sides in bold, readable type. This two-sided branding solution was intentionally designed to serve both form and function: it allows bartenders to install the tap in any direction while ensuring the name remains highly visible to patrons across the room. This thoughtful feature not only enhances branding but also streamlines bar operations—a small detail that makes a big impact in busy taprooms.
